Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the old castle was a unique experience. The rooms in the annex building lacked wifi, which was unexpected. However, we managed to find two rooms close together with minimal stairs, providing a glimpse into the historical charm of the castle.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms, although located in an annex building separate from the castle, were clean, well-maintained, and stylish. The filling breakfast provided added value to the stay. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff making my visit memorable. The location was perfect for exploring the charming surroundings, but the lack of clear notice about the room location could be improved.
My stay at the castle hotel was quite a mixed experience. While the location was beautiful and perfect for exploring the Lahn, the rooms being in an annex building, not the castle itself, came as a surprise, and they felt a bit outdated. The service was very friendly and highly efficient, although I did notice the chef leaving early in the evening. The dining experience was definitely above average, and the facilities overall were satisfactory.
Staying at the hotel was a mix of comfort and surprise. The rooms, though not in the castle itself but in a modern annex, offered great views. However, it would have been better if there was prior notice about the location difference while making the reservation.
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the hotel. Finding two rooms close together with minimal stairs was a plus. The service was welcoming and efficient, even though the hotel has yet to invest in upgrades. The location was superb with gorgeous views, especially adjacent to Giessen. The dining experience, while above average, felt a bit dated like any German hotel in the 80's. Overall, a comfortable and friendly stay with some room for improvements.
Staying at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms, although in an annex building separate from the castle itself, were well maintained, clean, and very stylish. The service was friendly and attentive, with some staff even showing guests to their rooms. The location offered spectacular views and was perfect for exploring the Lahn region. The dining experience, while above average, had room for improvement. Additionally, the facilities were good, providing a comfortable stay for guests.
I stayed in a modern sidewing building, not the castle itself, which wasn't communicated during the reservation. The great view from the room was very nice, but the lack of advance notice about being in the annex was a downside.
Staying in the turret to my room was a unique experience, and the filling breakfast added to the charm. While the room was a little smaller than usual, the downstairs restaurant was quite nice.
I stayed at this hotel in the annex building, not the castle itself, which was surprising as there was no notice about this during the reservation process. The rooms were very nice despite not being in the main castle but in an annex built around 30 years ago.
Staying in the castle annex was a pleasant surprise with nice rooms and a downstairs restaurant. However, it would have been better if there was prior notice about the annex during reservation.
